Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

To join a group, you will first need to undergo a free assessment. This assessment helps me understand your preferred learning style, whether it’s aural or visual. Based on this information, I divide the guitarists into groups that align with their individual learning preferences.

What type of repertoire do you cover?

Our ensemble focuses on playing songs in a group format, allowing guitarists to interchange roles between bass, rhythm, and lead. We provide a mix of written charts and recordings for those who prefer to learn by transcribing aurally.

The repertoire spans various genres, including pop, jazz, blues, flamenco, and Latin music. We aim to explore a diverse range of musical styles to broaden your musical horizons.

How many guitar groups do you have?

Currently, our guitar school offers two ensembles: one tailored for beginners and another for advanced learners.

Do I need to bring my amp?

There is no need, as I have a PA system that we can all plug into.

How much do I need to practice every week?

To ensure you master your repertoire effectively, I recommend dedicating a minimum of 20 minutes per day to practice. This way, you’ll arrive at rehearsals fully prepared and ready to play.

I use a pick, but I noticed in your pictures that guitarists are using their fingers.

Absolutely! I teach both techniques and encourage students to explore and combine them based on their preferences and musical style. Whether you prefer using a pick or your fingers, I’ll help you develop your skills and find what works best for you.
